Armadillo and Hare and the Very Noisy Bear

The second book in the Small Tales from the Big Forest series, Armadillo and Hare and the Very Noisy Bear was set loose in bookshops in April 2020. Written by the unofficial king of whimsy, Jeremy Strong and illustrated by Rebecca Bagley, Armadillo and Hare 2 is published by David Fickling Books.

A wombat on a bicycle, a drum bashing polar physician, a giraffe wearing a chandelier and, naturally, a good cheese sandwich or two, this charming collection of short stories unquestionably has something for everyone.

It also was nominated First Runner Up for the KS1 category in the Teach Primary Book Awards 2020.
